The display market will be worth more than $169 billion by 2022, up from more than 106 billion in 2015, according to a report by MarketsandMarkets. The market is also expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.5 percent between 2016 and 2022.

Consumer electronics such as TVs, smartphones and tablets will hold the highest market share in the display market. Quantum dot LED technology, however, is expected to experience the highest growth during the forecasted period.
